I wouldn't say it's a "newer version" since this is an A-series Tbolt. This is late 70s at it's best.
My knowledge excels on the Federal Thunderbolt siren and SiraTone EOWS sirens. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You are correct. It is from btw 1976 and approximately 1981-1982 from what I could gather. I believe this one did replace a gridface bolt or a 5 because West High is a location mentioned in a 1952 article about knoxville getting CD sirens. Still a good video nonetheless NK
