I finally got the equipment free to test out this old 76-B I bought some time ago. I recorded this in our quiet room at work, so the "ambience" is pretty dead. I capped it at a few different voltages just to get a feel for its sound at different steady speeds. The first one is at about 3 volts DC, the second at about 5.75 volts DC, and the last is at 8.5 volts DC. The humming/whirring you hear at the beginning and end is the fan from the monster DC power supply I used.
3 volts
6 volts
8 volts
There is some distortion when the siren reaches steady speed, I had the pre-amp gain set too high and clipped the input. If I get the time, I may take another shot at it.
