ASC Compualert Polling

Here is what it sounds like when the ASC Compualert system is polling the sirens in it's system. Recorded 9-12-07 Milwaukee County test the is a shorten version. It takes almost 15 minutes to poll all 53 sirens. Turn down volume http://www.savefile.com/files/1051946

What do you mean polling?

It is sending a signal to the siren control to make sure that the siren has worked properly.... if it fails it will be noted by the polling device. If it continues to run, the polling device will notate that and send another cancel signal to the siren to shut it off.
