Unused siren patent?

I was just looking through siren patents today and found this. Very interesting design indeed. Made by ACA.

Fascinating! Reading through the description of the siren's design, the idea behind it is very clever. The purpose of its shape is essentially to make it as impervious to precipitation as possible, reducing the chance of it freezing. I wonder why it was never manufactured... I would guess it has something to do with the cost to produce. Would be interesting to know if an actual physical prototype was ever made.

I love how it resembles a Horn of Plenty. Sort of a clever visual pun.

Very strange siren indeed.. I have to admit I sometimes fear mechanical objects like that in a strange shape... don't ask me why, it's been like that for a while.
