Thunderbolt blower question

Hello everyone. Y'all should know that The fs thunderbolt had 4 different roots blowers, but my question is why was the 5m discontinued pretty quickly even though it made the siren the loudest.

The 4M blower is smaller which probably costed less, and the lower pressure put less strain on the siren. That's my guess at least.
