was there any aca hurricanes before 1968?

so my grandfather had an old VHS tape with a movie called doctor strangelove. at some part an air raid siren goes off making a yelp like signal, and it sounds a lot like a hurricane. the film was made in 1959, so i'm just asking if there was any (or a prototype) at the time.

I'm going to say that it is not likely an aca hurricane but more likely another dual-toned siren with the same amount of ports.

i don't think there were any sirens able to do a yelp signal except the prototype hurricane
