It's definitely a Model 2T, and not a Hurricane. The Hurricane has a much slower wind-down, though it's highest pitch is the same. I love the sound of the 2T, because it sort of reminds me of a 4/5 port Thunderbolt 1000T. In fact, if I remember right, Federal put Model 2T choppers in the 4/5 port 1000T's.

Yeah, I also would have thought Hurricane at first, but Model 2T's have an unmistakably distinct wind-down. That video was pretty nerve-wracking, though. I've been through a house fire and those moments of waiting for the fire department to show up are NOT fun.

Goshen Fire Co. is on the siren archive, but the only siren they show is a Sentry 10V2T.

The windup and windown sounded like a 2T, but the cycle itself sounded like a Hurricane. In my opinion anyways.

Awesome video. That is for sure a 2T. If there was a Hurricane in Chester County PA, 1 Dave Fritz would of found it, and 2 I would of seen it durring my visits to see him.

Our own Rick Phicoda was responsible for the sirens at the Goshen Fire Department...there are two Sentry 15V2T sirens in thier system. I do not know of any Model 2T's in the system at all, the next town over (Edgemont) might have a Model 2 in thier little cupola... but I am not even so sure about that. I am work right now (what else is new) and we are not allowed to watch videos, or surf the internet, or send non worked related e-mail or wipe our a$$ without first asking which direction the company would like it wiped in.... as soon as I get home from work though I will watch this video and see if I can figure it out. Also, Dan is right.. if there was a Hurricaine in Chester County I would have stumbled onto it by now...but I guess that isn't always true either.. there is a Whelen 2004R in Bucks County that I just found this weekend... so I guess nothing is impossible.
