Vintage Thunderbolt Photos

Tue May 16, 2006 7:11 am

Does anyone know where I can find those two black and white photos of the Thunderbolt mounted on a building and with two guys standing in front of it?

Google returned nothing.

Thanks.

I think I know the one he is talking about and I believe that those are not it.

This photo has two men, dressed in business suits, standing at level with the projector of the Thunderbolt. The projector is pointed directly towards one of the gentleman's head, while he has his hand on it. If I remember, they had a smirk on their faces that said, "If this thing goes off, we're in trouble."

I also tried a google search under many possible key phrases but came back with nothing. I thought the photo might have been in Jacksonville or something of the sort but I could be entirely wrong.

Those pics are in New Orleans. Notice how weathered the Thunderbolt
looks in the photos and that photo is probably from the 1960s.
Here's another classic from that site...

Cool pictures. I love the way the true size of the T-bolt is shown.
