White STH-10

Sun Oct 12, 2008 12:35 am

While out and about today, I got some video of the STH-10 near I-75 and Schaefer. The other whooping alarm are Co2 alarms, the electronic wailing alarm is unknown for what it's for. I started to hear the electronic alarms, so I pulled over where I could see the STH-10 and shot this on the side of the road. I didin't have time to setup. When I get a chance, I will record this properly. But this is what can be heard in my melvindale 1003 video

This is one of the best recordings of an STH-10 in attack mode, I have ever heard. :D

It almost sounds like an E-57 German siren. Nice siren and recording job!

Thanks Folks, The great audio makes up for the poor visual quality of the video.

Nice video. That has a really fast rise and fall. The other sirens sound, for lack of a better comparison, like guinea pigs.
