Hey, neat my aunt lives in Cobb County, but unfortunately I was not interested in sirens at that time.

Yeah, I saw that video, through a Google-search.
I love how that 2T seems to wind down slowly, near the end of the video.

I didn't hear the siren much, the crappy music and stupid dialogue was ruining the video ;(

But the information was interesting, I suppose...

Nice find there scooterbugs. In today's day and age, it's a wonder why more cities are not putting out informational videos to inform their citizens of their warning systems (sirens or not) and what to do when they are activated.

The website also provides some nice information on Cobb County's siren system, including a PDF map of their system.

That's true. Most of the larger cities hardly have a mention of it, or they give instruction's on what to do during warnings and such, but nothing of great detail! many other places need something like this on there county web site. it would give the average citizen a sense of security to know exactly "What that loud siren" sound means and what they look like..even if they are ignorant to the fact of where its made and so forth, as long as they know something.. they are content when it comes to fixing it, replacing it or adding new ones to the system.

Maybe it would be like "Good customer service"..? Let the public feel like they are apart of something and they would accept it quicker since they would feel like they are apart of it. (after all they at the end they do flip the bill for it one way or another) lol

While some details of the video were a little cheesey, not many other places make siren info videos.
