Here's a street view on Google Maps. I can't believe an active Hurricane has been this close all along! Incredible find, Joe. I can't wait to hear it.

The blower is located on the side of the pole in the large yellow enclosure.

I am hoping someone will be getting a video of this beast? 8)
Now if only one would pop up around here I would be really happy.

The blower-casing and -platform are rather small on the Hurricane, though the actual motor and pneumatic systems actually seem slightly heftier than those of a Thunderbolt, as seen in Nelso's pics, not to mention that a Hurricane's blower has a big thirty horsepower, kinda large for such a small package!

Great job with the pics, Joe! :D

I think I know what I'm going to do with my other week of vacation this year. Glad to hear this beast is still active.
