No kidding. Huh, cool, I was expecting some lame no-name loudspeakers. I'll have to swing by some time to see if they're really Whelens.

I'm pretty excited because here on the Bay Area peninsula we have no sirens (the San Fran ATIs don't count), and no tests.

For the main peninsula, some of the coastal areas of San Mateo County have active tsunami sirens. The rest of the Bay area also has a number of sirens, either for flooding, tsunamis, or plants and refineries.

Indeed they are Whelens. According to the coverage map on that website they have 5 2903's and 2 2904's.
