Sterling Sirens

What are the different Sterling models? This has been mentioned before, but I couldn't find a definitive answer. My current understanding is:

V - Vertical single-rotor siren
N - Horizontal single-head siren
H - Horizontal dual-head siren
M - Horizontal dual-head siren
Y - Horizontal dual-head siren with brake

What is the difference between a Sterling H and a Sterling M? Are there any more models?

Sterling H is a hand cranked siren (unlike what other supposed "experts" have claimed before, the name tags on multiple sirens do not lie).

What does hand-cranked mean?

It means that the siren does not have a motor, and is powered by hand. Usually, a handle is attached to the back of the chopper. See the hand-operated sirens available from Klaxon Signals as examples. They are usually used where electricity is not available, or as back-up sirens in case the electronic ones fail.
