XT22's have 10 horns, I think. This makes them omni-directional.

Other sirens, such as 2001's and thunderbolts, have to rotate.

As long as they rotate, and sound in 360 degrees of rotation, they're effective.

So, yes. You can set your rotation phase either way.

Our town has only 1 thunderbolt left. .
I'm not sure, but I think ours does a 1 minute alert, then a 1 minute attack.
The rest are 2001s. Yech

Gee, thanks! That does make sense.

Note that when the siren starts up, the disc starts rotating in one direction, then it spins in the other direction. Hmm.
