Wow I knew that empty lot area area looked familiar. Right next to the Dunkin Donuts. I haven't driven by it yet, that's a good spot for that siren though.

Yeah I remember going by one day and up until then I thought the only siren in EP was the old Model 2 on top of Station 4. I thought right after that there was a siren mounted on EPHS at one point, but EPHS was built in 1952. The old EPHS was the building in the old yearbook picture. After the curre...

The one in Riverside is probably long gone. Its probably been gone since the fire that destroyed Crescent Park. As far as I know, theres only that one left in Rumford. The one in Rumford is on South Broadway near the new Rumford fire station and across from the old fire station. I think the building...

Seeing as you live in Riverside, you may find this interesting. East Providence had a CD siren system of Mobil Directos. There is a Mobil Directo in the Rumford section of East Providence. It may be the only one left of the system, theres a picture of another in an old local school yearbook but that...

Where did you see this Thunderbolt?

I live in RI and I took the pics of Seekonk, Swansea and East Providence that you see on the Siren Archive. You dont get many big sirens here. The biggest I have seen around here is a old Allertor that was said to be a Mobil Directo. I got tons of pics and I sent the pics to the Siren Archive but it...

Sirens for 4th of July?

Anyone going to set off any sirens for 4th of July? I will probably set off my Fed Sig VG and probably make a video of it.

A single tone P-50 would probably sound just like a single-tone P-15. As for the Cyclone, the lower half would sound like a Sentry siren and the upper half would sound like a Federal siren. But the real question is ... what would a 2001 sound like at 20,000 RPM? http://media.putfile.com/Siren-FS-20...
