They'll probably upgrade to 2900s when the proposed overhaul goes into effect.
The few I've seen were actually OA5s. They had the "Type I" cabinet with the one big door (like the Vortex utilizes), versus the two-part ("Type II") cabinet found on the WPS2806 and smaller. This may be another reason why they are wanting to replace them, to upgrade to voice-capable sirens.Ninja Squirrel wrote:Fairview Heights has a system of 2800s.
