We just leave Ian with the shovel and he "landscapes" everything. All it needs is a couple of boxwoods planted around it.



Concrete poles are awesome. Only downside is they are heavy as sin and require a pole trailer that supports the entire length of the pole.

Spun concrete is quite popular around here for new installations.

I'm assuming concrete poles have steel reinforcement? Concrete is incredibly strong in compression, but I can't imagine unreinforced concrete could take much bending before fracture.
