Well then he/she must like censoring a bit too much.PugetSoundStormWatch wrote:You never know. I saw at least one user on here who actually liked them as if they were the best siren on the market.
I'd be a bit surprised if this was a radio malfunction and not operator error, since ATI uses some decent Motorola receivers.coastalsyrolover wrote:Yea provided the dang thing goes off (Bandon OR has ATIs and they sometimes wont activate either...) But it doesn't matter... The point is these ones failed (As they were doing with the old drivers) and I am guessing none of us here are at all in the least bit surprised...
True ATI does have a decent reciever. I almost wonder... If it were compatable of course... But I wonder if the ATI would be a little better with the whelen orange drivers?TboltTX1 wrote:I'd be a bit surprised if this was a radio malfunction and not operator error, since ATI uses some decent Motorola receivers.coastalsyrolover wrote:Yea provided the dang thing goes off (Bandon OR has ATIs and they sometimes wont activate either...) Now I can't speak for their amplifiers or compression drivers, since I don't know where they are manufactured.

Thank you, Brendan, for your thoughtful (and likely correct) response. The derailment is extraordinary in this thread.Brendan Ahern wrote:My guess is someone hit the wrong button when trying to do a silent test.
Well their sirens are nothing more than ASC E-Classes right?stormsetter4 wrote:Not gong to derail this topic too much, but ATI has a great siren design/concept in my opinion. It's the hardware, equipment, and frequencies that they use that make them a bad siren.
The speakers on the E-Class are the same, but that's about it. I don't remember if anyone on here has been able to confirm whether or not they are using the same drivers that come with the speakers or using Atlas 100 Watt drivers.Thunderbolt10031 wrote:Well their sirens are nothing more than ASC E-Classes right?stormsetter4 wrote:Not gong to derail this topic too much, but ATI has a great siren design/concept in my opinion. The thread is about sanfrancisco's siren system going off which happens to be ATI. Were talking about ATI and figuring things with ATI. Extraordinary would be talking about like potatoes or something... Quick bump off topic but people yell at me for saying stuff like that and yet when someone else does... Ah whatever, it doesn't matter. Anyways back on topic. No if I remember it right ATI does use the atlas drivers. But don't quote me on that.uncommonsense wrote:Thank you, Brendan, for your thoughtful (and likely correct) response.
