So it doesn't look like an octopus is stuck in the cabinet. They could have raised the cabinet up so it can be serviced from the back of a pickup bed. looks like the cabinet is sitting on the ground. Some small child could get tangled up and die in that mess. LOL

Hah, nice. I searched for it for a while because I forgot what it was called. XD Did they ever fix it or replace it?

I'm surprised that no-one's posted about this siren yet:

I'll repost the Melrose New York well pump motor Thunderbolt as soon as I get the pics uploaded again.
I also have pics of the Lindsay T135 after it fell. It didn't look to me like it was destroyed. The projector was broken but that's all that I could see that was wrong with it.
Actually, from looking at the remains of the pole that was still laying there, it looked to me like they tried to lower it with that truck and the pole folded over. I'll get those pics uploaded.

Here are the pics of the Lindsay TX T-135 starting with the broken pole mount footing.
I don't know what became of these two sirens. It's such a shame. I don't know if they were
even 10 years old when they were removed in Allen.http://www.civildefensemuseum.com/sirens/removal.html

Image
The pole mount base footing. I don't know if you can make it out in
this pic but the only rebar I see is a 3/8 inch piece hanging out.
The thing broke off about a foot below ground.

Image
The siren on the left is the one that fell. The only damage I see is
the cracked projector. If it fell from it's full height it would have been far more
damaged than this.

Image
From this view there is no other damage visible at all.
The one that fell is the one on the right.

Image
The folded over pole section.

Image
And finally. The greatest siren rig of all. The well pump motor Melrose NY Thunderbolt.
