Actually, comparing pictures of that siren to a MARS, that's definitely what it is.

The Mars Signal Light Company was one of several fire equipment suppliers who sold Federal Electric's Type B sirens back in the 1920s-1930s. Some of them actually did have 'Mars' cast into the siren's stator plates however there are no other differences between these and the Federal marked Type Bs.
The siren shown above does not have its projectors in place.

I'm planning to go up the juniper hills park thunderbolt 1000T for a test but I don't know when Frankfort does their siren test so since 4j25 recorded one of Frankfort thunderbolts recently, does he know when they test their sirens?

I'm going up to the juniper hills park thunderbolt 1000T tomarrow. They have moved the test to tomarrow at noon because of Independence Day. I'll be so happy to hear it go off Especially since it's set to 8 rpm. The one in Georgetown was set to 8 rpm but it got broken down before I could record it and it's going to be replaced. Wish me luck ;). This will be my second thunderbolt recording my first one was on June 14th in Louisville at chacrane elementary.

Bad news. The juniper hills park thunderbolt 1000T didn't go off today because of the rain. I was so sad that I went all the way To Frankfort and it didn't go off ;(. However as I was leaving a couple yards away stood a new federal signal 508 :!: I'm worried that it maybe replacing the Tbolt I've tried to call the Frankfort ema a couple times but no answer but if any siren enthusiast on here has any information for me let me know here on the siren board it will be very helpful and I thank you all for it.
Sincerely,

Like I said in my OP, the old sirens will NOT be deactivated until they essentially cannot activate. Yes there is a new 508 across the golf course from it, and it will be its replacement in the future, when the 'bolt decides to conk out. For now, all will run in tandem.

Not sure. If I do it'll probably be the Juniper one or another roof mounted one.
