Guys, ive been having some trouble with my model 2, anyone know the problem? Ive only growled it like 5 times, and now its like this! And NO, it is not wound for DC current! Please help!

Has the motor been rewound at all? Cause it sounds like it was rewound for DC current, when it should be able to run with AC current.
In my opinion, I think there way too many 2001's in Indiana!

If the motor turns when power from a car battery is applied, it was rewound for DC current.

Sounds to me like something isn't making contact. Perhaps brushes or bad connections? Or the mentioned above current (although it sounds like it was running in that configuration before?)

I was just in a call with him. He showed me some pictures that he had taken and I noticed the rings that attach to the brush holders weren't completely on. He said that they were loose and coming on.
