The high pitched sound is a combination of a high chopper speed level (most likely level 7) and a reverse wired blower.

Early ATIs made in the very early 2000s used a 1000hz tone. There aren't very many left, since most ATIs from that era have long since died or had the controllers replaced.
Just a wolf, siren enthusiast and railfan.
