That was a nonsensical reason to lock the thread. One, they are dreams, anything can happen in them. Two, that thread was in the Off Topic forum where less serious stuff is permitted.NewEnglander1212 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2024 9:19 pmIf I recall, the original thread was locked a couple years ago due to the posts becoming increasingly ridiculous.
You’d be surprised how many threads get locked just because someone feels like it, they usually aren’t even breaking TOS.Jake_7367 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 1:49 amThat was a nonsensical reason to lock the thread. Thank goodness someone started another Siren Dreams thread!
Huh I wonder what topic recently just got locked just because someone felt like it…SpanishFriedEggs wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 2:13 amYou’d be surprised how many threads get locked just because someone feels like it, they usually aren’t even breaking TOS.Jake_7367 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 1:49 amThat was a nonsensical reason to lock the thread. Sorry for bumping, but is the Thunderbolt a jailbar?NewEnglander1212 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2024 9:19 pmIf I recall, the original thread was locked a couple years ago due to the posts becoming increasingly ridiculous. But since this one has been started, I'll recap a rather memorable dream I had in 2019. It involved a Thunderbolt 1000 in the ceiling in my place of work, where a vent normally lived. Being excited to see the 1000, I decided to try to set it off to see if it would shake and rattle the building. Unfortunately, what I got instead was a really weak, high-pitched wail that sounded more like Elmo's voice imitating a siren. After that disappointment, the Thunderbolt blinked a few times, disappeared, and the vent that was normally there in real life returned. I still can't figure that dream out to this day.
