Re: Siren Related Dreams

Thu Feb 13, 2025 7:24 pm

One time I had a dream where I had 3 P-50s and an 8032B. When I was sleeping (in the dream) when someone snuck in my backyard and figured out how to activate one of my P-50s. It was left unlocked. It sounded in alert for 35 minutes and I thought someone hacked it. I pressed cancel and the siren deactivated. I went to ASC to get maintenance in on it because I thought it broke. The next night, the siren system (consisting of T-128s and 2001-SRNs) was hacked. I told the EMA then all my sirens went off. Then I woke up and the siren system I live in (consisting of 2001s and a couple model 2s) went off for the monthly test. That was a weird dream.

I once had a dream (and a sad one at that) where I was married and I brought home a bunch of model 5s and 7s to restore and when I left for work and came back, my wife put dirt and flowers in the housings and said “don’t they just look amazing in those?” and I was pretty ticked off and right before I could start arguing I woke up. I was married in the dream but I’m not in real life so that was another thing about it that was weird…
I'm a siren enthusiast but I also collect electric fans. I’m working on a map for sirens in NE and hope to post it here someday

Now I have 8 small sirens, and 58 electric fans :D :D

i had a dream that me and my family were staying the night at a motel* in alamosa, colorado, when my parents were checking into the hotel i waited outside and saw something red on the roof but i didn't think much of it. then about 20 minuits later i went outside again and found a ladder on the wall, i climbed it to find a chrysler air raid siren on the roof about 10 feet away from a gas powered mobil-directo, i climbed back down to take a walk down the road and found a sd-10 sitting right next to the left side of the motel building i ran back to the hotel after hearing some thunder and the dream ended.

*the motel in the dream is real but was a bit different to what it was in the dream and DEFINATELY did not have any sirens on the roof or anywhere near the motel, motel location comfort inn & suites alamosa 6301 us-160 alamosa, CO 81101 united states.

I once had a dream where I was storm chasing with some friends, we ended up going to a storm and seeing a funnel. The sirens went off, they sounded like 2001s with a couple of P-10s. We ended up being in a good spot till the tornado nearly passed us. Once we ended up moving the tornado began to get Alot wider, the sirens went off again but this time it sounded like whelens doing attack, I could even hear a faint 8/12 port siren. And that's where the dream ends because I was woken up by my little brother.

An 8/10 T-128 would be cool maybe someone could design and 3d print one(I could too but I’m dumb when it comes to designing a 3d print and just printing in general.

If I recall, the original thread was locked a couple years ago due to the posts becoming increasingly ridiculous.
That was a nonsensical reason to lock the thread. One, they are dreams, anything can happen in them. Two, that thread was in the Off Topic forum where less serious stuff is permitted.

Thank goodness someone started another Siren Dreams thread!
I love Yamaha Music Sirens.

You’d be surprised how many threads get locked just because someone feels like it, they usually aren’t even breaking TOS.

Huh I wonder what topic recently just got locked just because someone felt like it…

If I recall, the original thread was locked a couple years ago due to the posts becoming increasingly ridiculous. But since this one has been started, I'll recap a rather memorable dream I had in 2019. It involved a Thunderbolt 1000 in the ceiling in my place of work, where a vent normally lived. Being excited to see the 1000, I decided to try to set it off to see if it would shake and rattle the building. Unfortunately, what I got instead was a really weak, high-pitched wail that sounded more like Elmo's voice imitating a siren. :x After that disappointment, the Thunderbolt blinked a few times, disappeared, and the vent that was normally there in real life returned. I still can't figure that dream out to this day.
Sorry for bumping, but is the Thunderbolt a jailbar?

A few days ago, I had a dream where I lived with multiple sirens (a T-128, Model 5, STH-10, 3T22, P-15 single toned, P-50, Modulator II 6024B, and Sentry 40V2T) and I live near a 2007 2001-130 that was down for maintenance. Iactivated my 40V2T for the monthly test in 2.5 min attack. After the test, I went to lunch. After lunch, you won't believe this, but someone set my STH-10 in pulse (I forgot to mention it was a rare coded model.) I deactivated it and it's now a dual tone model because I put a
dual tone chopper (10/12) on it. Whenever I put the STH-10's power back on, I woke up.
