The Allertor sucks air in from the front bell and blasts it out that snorkel. The CLM siren has two rotors; one at the front and one at the back. The front rotor has an intake inside that large projector, in a similar way to a Penetrator or a 500AT, though the shape is different. The back rotor works a little like that of an Allertor... you can even see it has its own intake at the back. Of course, the front projector and back snorkel have nothing to do with each-other, as there is a motor in between them.ThunderboltFreak wrote:I think it functions like an allertor... with all the sound being projected out of the top vent while air is sucked into the front part of the projector.
Or sound being projected out of the front of the projector and air being sucked in the top vent. However the allertor functions, I'm sure this siren is the same.
