Also, if permitted I can take a little time to upgrade these forums to phpbb3 and integrate phpbb3 to a mediawiki installation. That way, it is than requiring all users to have an account on the forum to be able to login and make edits to the wiki pages.
Essentially a single sign on, which as well will kill off ALL abuse of the wiki pages.
Would be nice, and would work in theory, but IMO, would require some serious investments in time and community effort to get something workable, and that's discounting the effort required to mesh phpBB and MediaWiki, two very different packages. I second the move for a Wiki! I have one on my website and it's been doing pretty good so far. Installation is quite easy and isn't hard at all.

Yah, I also sent some pictures a couple days ago. Is anything wrong? I'm starting to think Charlie is right about the wiki, then we wouldn't have to worry about delays in postings since we post them ourselves, causing a smoother flow of pictures added to the site. But either way as long as they are eventually added it works for me.

First before anyone gets upset over this, I want you to know that I don't mean to cause any trouble and I think you all will enjoy this. Since the old archive is closed to new pictures, and Adam's archive died I now have created the very first user-interactive siren archive! It was brought up on here in some comments in this topic that an interactive siren archive would be loved and used by many, so for awhile now it has been my secret project. To be able to edit, simply go to the "How To Join" section in the left panel. There you can learn how to register. After you register please read the "Rule" and "How To Post" sections. Then you will be able to use and post your own siren locations. A new feature that you didn't have on either of the old archives is SELF EDITING! You also are able to post links to videos and maps. You can go to interactivesirenarchive.johnsplanet.org/start to join. Let me know what you all think!
