Thanks for the neat video! I must admit, I couldnt keep myself from thinking about when the show Mystery Science Theater used to watch the old educational videos and do their "riffing" commentary. ;)

Great video! Awesome that these promotional/ educational films have survived all these years! I too can only imagine what crow, and Tom-Servo on MST3000 would "rift" about this!

Annoys me how they used a Model 2(?) for the sound, even when they showed the blower.

I'm sure it's a single tone Thunderbolt 1000. I don't think Model 2s go that high in pitch..
Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right.

Was hoping for a 500T or 550AT in this film... About the right era and all. Nice to see all that vintage stuff throughout!
Still close enough to a Fed Sig 550AT to drive out on test day: First Friday in May - 7PM!

the 1000T wasn't produced yet
the t-bolt was still primarily single tone.

I can't stand Quicktime... :x

Great video though. The first siren sound clip was definitely a Model 2. The high pitched one sounded like a Thunderbolt 1000 on level 6 or 7 without a blower. All those horns and sirens at the end remind me of my insane alarm clock, or something that Jebb, Ian and Charley would do at Charley's house...
