Federal Model 5 put back into service

The neighbors finally complained enough that it was shut off. Sometime after that all of the controls for the siren were removed. The fire dept w...

Well, we finally got this siren rebuilt and installed today. The armature was bad so we had to order a new one. Then when it arrived we also found out the field was also dead, so we had to order a new one of those also. We finally got the motor put back together and everything is brand new and it ru...

Was there a larger siren there before ?
No, I'm pretty sure that this setup has always been a model 2.
What town is this?
This is near Charlotte at the Cooks VFD. It is basically located between Mountain Island Lake and Charlotte.
